Paton-Churdan track & field
A September 16 post recapping discussion by the Paton-Churdan school board of track and field teams for the 2016 season incorrectly stated that the Greene County board last February turned down a request to share girls track and field due in large part to the untimeliness of the request.
In fact, the Greene County board approved a motion to approve sharing boys and girls track with P-C and to modify the agreement with the intention that track be shared on a continuing basis, not year by year.
It was a decision by the Paton-Churdan board to have a P-C boys team and forgo girls track & field due to low participation.
